The Board of Trustees of Baltimore Medical System has elected Dennis Bodley, Vice President of Thomas Park Commercial, to serve on its Board, bringing a real estate perspective grounded in healthcare delivery to the organization’s continued growth across the Greater Baltimore region.
As healthcare delivery continues to evolve, access is increasingly shaped at the community level- where care is located, how it is delivered, and how systems expand to meet growing demand. In a region as dynamic as Greater Baltimore, these decisions play a critical role in connecting patients to consistent, high-quality care.
Bodley’s experience at the intersection of healthcare operations and real estate strategy positions him to contribute to this broader conversation. His background offers a practical understanding of how healthcare systems grow within communities through thoughtful site selection, expansion planning, and alignment with long-term population needs.
In his role on the Board, Bodley will support governance and strategic planning, helping guide decisions that influence not only organizational growth, but also how care is delivered across the region.
Bodley brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, including leadership roles across institutional brokerage platforms and a decade leading real estate strategy for LifeBridge Health, where he oversaw site selection, acquisitions, leasing, and portfolio management across a large healthcare network serving the Baltimore area.
Today, as Vice President at Thomas Park Commercial, Bodley advises landlords, tenants, and investors across the Mid-Atlantic, bringing a cross-sector perspective shaped by both healthcare and broader commercial real estate experience. Bodley’s appointment comes at a time when healthcare delivery and real estate strategy are becoming more closely aligned, particularly as providers consider how and where to grow.
“Healthcare real estate today is about more than space, it’s about access, efficiency, and supporting long-term care delivery. Thoughtful expansion requires a clear understanding of both the communities being served and the operational needs behind that care.”
