Investment & Capital Expansion

Thomas Park Investments continued advancing its healthcare-focused investment strategy during the first half of 2026 as the company expanded both acquisition activity and institutional investment relationships across the Mid-Atlantic region.

During the period, the company launched a new programmatic joint venture with an international investment manager, supporting long-term acquisition growth and further expanding Thomas Park’s institutional investment infrastructure. The partnership was seeded through the acquisition of two on-campus medical office assets in Olney, Maryland, marking the initial deployment of capital through the venture and establishing a foundation for future acquisition activity.

The launch and successful execution of the initial acquisitions represented a significant milestone for the platform, reflecting the completion of institutional underwriting, diligence, and operational onboarding processes required to support long-term programmatic investment activity.

During the period, the company also completed the acquisition of 4000 Old Court Road in Pikesville, Maryland, continuing Thomas Park’s focus on outpatient healthcare real estate and operationally intensive assets where localized market expertise, operational integration, and long-term ownership alignment create strategic advantages.

“Our strategy continues focusing on sectors where operational execution creates long-term advantages,” said Alex Kopicki, Chief Investment Officer and Principal. “We believe the combination of disciplined investing, operational integration, and platform visibility continues positioning us well for long-term growth.”

The company noted continued strength within outpatient healthcare real estate fundamentals, supported by demographic tailwinds, healthcare employment growth, and renewed lender activity within the medical office sector.

Thomas Park Management continued expanding operational infrastructure and third-party management capabilities during the first half of the year as the platform scales both owned and managed assets across the region.

Thomas Park Management is currently onboarding a new third-party management client with an 837,000-square-foot portfolio located throughout Harford County, Maryland, marking a significant expansion of the company’s third-party management operations and regional footprint.

Additionally, the company continued expanding engineering oversight, building services infrastructure, and operational support capabilities to support growing portfolio complexity and long-term operational scalability.

Thomas Park Holdings advanced beta deployment of Lando AI during the first half of 2026, integrating the company’s maintenance intelligence platform across active real estate operations.

Lando AI is designed to improve maintenance coordination, operational visibility, asset-level reporting, and real-time property information management across the company’s portfolio and operating teams.

The company also continued investing in centralized operational reporting, technology infrastructure, and data visibility systems to support long-term scalability and execution across the platform.

Leadership & Organizational Development

During the first half of 2026, Thomas Park Holdings continued strengthening organizational infrastructure across the platform through strategic promotions, leadership expansion, and operational restructuring initiatives designed to support long-term growth.

The company added 13 new team members year-to-date across investment, brokerage, engineering, property management, construction, and operational functions while continuing active hiring initiatives throughout multiple operating companies, particularly across construction, engineering, field services, and operational support roles.

Following the acquisition of three additional investment assets during the first half of the year, Thomas Park continued expanding operational leadership across investment and property management functions to support portfolio onboarding, operational integration, and long-term asset execution. The company also formalized the operational separation between J. Thomas Property Services and Thomas Park Management’s internal Building Services operations as the organization continued expanding field services and operational execution capabilities throughout the region. As part of that transition, John Ginnever was appointed President of J. Thomas Property Services, while Curtis McClain, Director of Operations, assumed leadership of day-to-day field operations and Alex Landis, Director of Engineering, continued expanding engineering oversight and operational leadership responsibilities across Thomas Park Management.

The company continues pursuing acquisition opportunities while expanding third-party management relationships, leasing activity, operational services, construction execution, engineering capabilities, and field operations throughout the region.

Thomas Park’s integrated operating structure continues creating a compounding growth effect across the organization, where investment activity drives operational scale, operational visibility strengthens execution, and expanded execution capabilities support future acquisitions and long-term growth.
