Thomas Park Commercial Represents Seller in Transition of Longstanding Federal Hill Dental Practice

Balitmore, Maryland – Thomas Park Commercial is pleased to announce the successful sale of 835 Light Street in Baltimore, Maryland, the longtime home of Federal Hill Smiles.
Representing the seller, Jonathan "Yoni" Baron assisted Dr. Denise Markoff in the sale of the property following the closure of her practice earlier this year. For more than 40 years, Federal Hill Smiles served the Federal Hill community, providing dental care to generations of Baltimore families while building a reputation for personalized patient care.
The transition marks the conclusion of a career dedicated to private practice dentistry. As Dr. Markoff shared with her patients, she spent more than three years exploring succession opportunities, seeking a solution that would preserve the values and level of care that defined Federal Hill Smiles. Ultimately, health challenges led to the difficult decision to close the practice and transition the property to its next owner.
As both a commercial real estate advisor and practicing dentist, Baron understood the considerations involved in transitioning a long-established dental practice. His experience in healthcare allowed him to work closely with Dr. Markoff throughout the process, helping navigate a transaction that extended beyond the sale of real estate.
The property was acquired by Crystal Ellis, owner of The Smile Suite, who plans to relocate her dental practice from Silver Spring to 835 Light Street. The acquisition continues the property's longstanding use as a neighborhood dental office. The buyer was represented by Charles Peacock and Rudy Peacock of United Development Realty.
