Towson, Maryland - Thomas Park Commercial is pleased to announce the successful lease of the 11,400-square-foot Historic Hillendale Theatre at 1045 Taylor Avenue in Towson, Maryland.
Representing the landlord, Jonathan Baron negotiated a 10-year lease with The Upper Room Apostolic Church, led by Apostle Darren Farmer. The transaction presented a creative leasing solution, allowing the tenant to renovate the property through an as-is lease structure while preserving the building's long-term potential.
Originally constructed as the Historic Hillendale Theatre, the property has long been a recognizable landmark in the Towson community. The Upper Room Apostolic Church plans to thoughtfully restore the space, creating a permanent home for its growing congregation while establishing the property as a resource for the surrounding community through worship, outreach, and neighborhood programming.
